The Software Engineer III develops, implements, and maintains software solutions that enable business operations to realize company goals & objectives. The incumbent performs analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and support of software applications.  May be assigned to develop new applications/systems, enhance/upgrade existing systems or provide production support.  He/she works independently on moderately complex projects, receiving only general direction. May provide assistance and direction to less experienced peers.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Monitor and manage day-to-day security alerts and incidents detected on QIMA anti-malware solutions. 

• Contain and remediate, escalated security incidents by working with IT support, IT Infrastructure, and/or Applications team. Document and implement changes to prevent potential recurrence. 

• Perform security event and network log analysis to identify other indicators of compromise across the QIMA environment.  

• Regularly review and develop strategies and procedures to handle security incidents ensuring that the QIMA incident response plan is up to date. 

• Maintain QIMA Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, and ensure that regular testing of plans are conducted based on agreed frequencies. 

• Perform regular security vulnerability assessment against QIMA applications and infrastructure. Document and report findings to the applicable teams (IT Infrastructure/Application Development Teams) to drive the completion on patching and remediation based on aligned SLAs.

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, business administration with a mathematical focus or a comparable qualification
• Hands-on experience with the Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) Tool and Oracle Watchlist Screening (OWS)
• Java Script, XML and SQL experience required
• Ability to convert the Business Matching rules to EDQ Matching rules involving Exact and Fuzzy Rules

The developer is responsible for design, construction and unit testing of ServiceNow Forms. The candidate will collaborate with Business Analysts and SMES to perform detailed requirement analysis. The candidate will provide production implementation and post-production support for ServiceNow Forms and other User Experience aspects of ServiceNow.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, architecture, maintenance and enhancement of ServiceNow Forms.
• Create and maintain the current state of the ServiceNow platform architecture documentation
• Gather requirements, analyze the impact of new requirements, and configure the new requirements on the ServiceNow platform as per ITIL best practices.
• Develop technical design documents.
• Create well-structured test plans and coordinate testing activities, identify, document, and track software defects. Perform and facilitate regression testing of resolved defects.

The Software Engineer III develops, implements, and maintains software solutions that enable business operations to realize company goals & objectives. The incumbent performs analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and support of software applications. May be assigned to develop new applications/systems, enhance/upgrade existing systems or provide production support. He/she works independently on moderately complex projects, receiving only general direction. May provide assistance and direction to less experienced peers.

• Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to accurately capture stakeholder requests and system specifications and translate them into engineering artifacts, which typically include design specifications, source code, test scripts and test results.
• Coordinates with software architects and Software engineer IVs to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture principles and software development best practices.
• As part of Agile teams, completes software development work which includes application design, coding, code review and testing. Keeps Agile team and APM apprised of project status.

• Monitors operational performance efficiencies of flour milling machines and equipment. Performs analysis of problems encountered. Investigates root cause/s, implements and/or recommends cost-effective corrective action plans to ensure reliability and availability.

• Identifies critical spare parts required and monitors inventory. Recommends action plans to Production Supervisor and/or Flour Mill Manager for the procurement.

• Learns and understands sifter flow sheets. Develop the skills required on how to fix broken sifter sieve cloth.

• Acts as Reliever to Production Associate when the incumbent is on vacation/sick leave or on Official Business or attending company-related activities.

General Tasks
