The primary focus of this role is leading a team of Technical Support Representatives as they assist Tier 1 Support to ensure the successful support of the Turnitin user base and the continuous improvement of team capabilities and performance.

We are looking for a Junior Technical Support Analyst to assist our customers with issues they encounter, when using our products and services.

The Junior Technical Support Analyst is the first contact point for our customers, and plays a vital role ensuring requests are handled efficiently, and escalated to the correct team for further analysis. As you progress in the role your responsibilities will expand to include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding product users through features and functionalities.

ThinkWell has a growing project portfolio in the Philippines and is seeking a Technical Advisor (TA). The TA will provide expertise in health financing and health systems strengthening as part of ThinkWell's technical support to the USAID TB-Free Luzon Activity, which is implemented by University Research Co., LLC (URC). The project aims to strengthen tuberculosis control and care in the Philippines by reducing the TB burden while ensuring financial protection for patients through sustainable, locally driven health system solutions. ThinkWell's role focuses on strengthening TB service delivery platforms through sustainable financing and UHC integration, working closely with the Department of Health, PhilHealth, and Local Government Units to optimize financing mechanisms and build local capacity.

The TA will provide technical leadership and strategic guidance in integrating TB services within the Philippines' Universal Health Care (UHC) framework. The role will focus mainly on sustainable financing mechanisms and health system strengthening, especially at the subnational level.

The Technical Advisor will report to ThinkWell's Senior Technical Advisor and will coordinate closely with URC's Objective 3 lead for the TB-Free Luzon Activity. This is a fixed-term position based in the Philippines.

What you’ll do

Technical Leadership

·        Provide technical assistance in designing and implementing sustainable service delivery and financing models for TB services within the UHC framework

What You Will Do:

• Provides desk-side assistance in resolving technology support issues (will support US banks; check scanner issues)

• Performs installations, repairs, upgrades, backups and other maintenance tasks.

• Provides effective customer service in a 24X7X365 production environment (rotating on-call and holiday support may be required.

• Utilizes soft skills and troubleshooting skills to resolve client issues and questions.

• Asks probing questions to gather relevant information on routine and complex calls.

• Uses effective listening skills to develop understanding of client questions or issues.

• Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.

• Documents, tracks and monitors client incidents in ticketing system to ensure a timely resolution.

• Prioritizes and escalates support incidents and requests based on business impact and documented guidelines.

• Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.

• Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.

• Recommends solutions including new acquisitions and upgrades.

• May participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects.

• May have expertise in commonly used business applications.

• May handle phone and email assistance as well.

• Must be amenable to work on a permanent night shift (Saturday/Sunday off)

• Skill in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools for client accessibility problems to applications and network (e.g., resetting password, bouncing PU, resetting remote devices)

What You Will Do:

• Provides 24 x 7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems.

• May conduct code-level software analyses to identify root cause of bugs and/or system modifications as needed.

• Identifying and resolving technical issues

• Assisting with system integrations

• Interfaces with internal clients, vendors, managers, IT and Product Development to resolve problems.

• Analyzes problem, documents and communicates resolution and conducts follow up. Escalates problems to appropriate teams when necessary.

• Interacts with internal departments to deliver solutions.

What You Will Bring:

• Must have skills/tools/experience  Unix, Windows, Application support, Unix programming/scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.), ServiceNow, ITIL service management (incident, request, change, problem, knowledge)

• Nice to have skills/tools/experience: Network, System Admin Certificate Management, Apache web service, Jira, Akamai

• Must be willing to work on a Hybrid setup (Twice a week onsite). Office location is at Ecoplaza Building, Magallanes, Makati City (located near Magallanes MRT Station, EDSA)

• Must be willing to work on a night shift (9pm to 6am) with rotational on-call schedule to cover off-hours including weekends

• College Undergraduates and Non-Bachelor's Degree holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply

• Knowledge of a wide range of interface design, development and debugging tools, techniques and methodologies
