Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Duties:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and
other facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including wiring, circuit breakers, motors,
and generators.
Assist with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as required.
Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on tools and machinery.
Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
2. Electrical Work:
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with relevant electrical codes and
safety regulations.
Perform repairs on electrical panels, outlets, and switches.
Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components.
3. Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other maintenance workers, contractors, and suppliers as needed.
Provide assistance and support to other team members to achieve department goals.
Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance issues and project
updates.
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical work or related field
preferred.
Previous experience in maintenance, electrical work, or a related role.
Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical systems is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of
a team.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
