General Purpose:
As an Executive Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the legal team's efforts in delivering exceptional services to our clients. Your expertise in law firm practices, coupled with your proficiency in Clio Practice Management Software, will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice. You will collaborate closely with our attorneys and paralegals to manage administrative tasks and contribute to the success of our legal endeavors.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome and interview clients, assess their legal needs, explain legal services, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
• Draft and proofread legal documents, including wills, trusts, estate plans, probate, personal injury, real estate etc. filings.
• Manage client communication, scheduling appointments, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining case files and documents.
• Conduct legal research and compile relevant information for cases.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.
• Data Entry Management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a legal setting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in legal research techniques and using legal databases.
• Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience supporting C-level executives or senior management.
• Knowledge of legal industry-specific terminology and trends.
