Position : Outbound Communications/Outreach Specialist
Working Hours : M-F, 9am to 5pm Pacific Time Zone (also open to starting earlier if preferred)
Salary Range : 800-1200 USD
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients by emailing businesses in the Reno-Sparks Chamber (over 2,200 businesses) and other sources of finding local businesses.
- Research businesses within the Reno-Sparks region and cold call to offer them exclusive specials such as off-site catering, discounted rates for happy hours, holiday event spaces, etc.
- Leverage the existing popularity and high reviews of The Jesse and Estella to introduce the venue to new sub-markets.
- Identify and drive new opportunities for growth, particularly focusing on markets that haven't yet experienced our downtown establishments' offer.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competition, and customer needs to ensure a competitive edge.
- Provide feedback on edits to offers and specials to optimize higher conversions.
- Report regularly on lead progress and communicate across internal teams to ensure leads are being engaged.
- With at least 2-3 years of related experience.
- Proven experience in outbound communication, public relations, or a related role.
- Excellent phone etiquette, communication, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and data analysis.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Slack, MS Office, and Google Workspace proficiency.
