Our flagship campus is in Sydney Australia but in this project you’ll be working remotely from wherever you are located. That means you have the ultimate flexibility. Wherever works for you, works for us.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
What you'll be doing
- As a Freelance Keyword Reviewer, your task is to ensure that our elements in the library are tagged with relevant keywords and contain accurate titles. You will be helping us maintain the quality of our ingredients' titles and set of keywords in the library.
- Review the titles and keywords of various elements, such as photos or graphics, in a high-volume and deadline-oriented environment
- Ensure that elements have accurate, relevant, fresh, and on-trend titles and keywords
- Assess if titles created by contributors follow our metadata guidelines
- Maintain full understanding of expected deadlines and metadata review guideline
Must haves:
- A proven ability of conducting proper keyword tagging and composition of titles
- Very strong understanding of the English language, including a wide range of cultural references and concepts
- A proven ability to correctly assess titles and keywords for relevance, appropriateness, and grammatical correctness
- Exceptional attention to detail
Nice to have:
- Experience or background with metadata, writing, seo, keyword optimization and/or keyword research
- Has a keen understanding of different design styles and design fundamentals (composition, color, design style, etc.)
- Preferably with high-speed internet or back-up Internet
