Smartsourcing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer Test 3 to join our team. As a Software Engineer Test 3 at Smartsourcing, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and validation. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute test plans, identify and report bugs, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development process.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Identify and document software defects and track their resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall product quality
- Perform regression testing to ensure functionality and stability of software releases
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++)
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
