• Develop data pipelines from different data sources to extract, transform and load data into our Data Warehouse ;
• Assure a healthy Data warehouse containing high quality data, respecting development standards and best practices ;
• Optimize performance at all levels of BI scope, tuning queries, data pipelines and Dashboards, using the available tools ;
• Monitor and support high availability Data pipelines and ensure their daily successful completion ;
• Work along the DBA to Troubleshoot performance issues impacting production BI databases ;
• Participate in design and development of data warehouse using a Dimensional Design ;
• Create functions and stored procedures to provide custom functionality as per the requirements ;
• Capitalize on existing project deliverables to ensure continuity/reusability ;
• Interact with Business users to assess requests, set priorities and manages expectations ;
• Develop and execute unit tests in accordance with quality rules defined by the technical team ;
• Work under Agile methodology always updating last status, creating new tasks, and advising in case of a blocked task ;
• Timely document all the work done in projects and daily tasks, explain the work done to other members of the team ;
• Working closely with project managers to ensure delivery is on time as well as on budget ;
• Learn new technologies, tools and methods identified on the Bath Fitter Data Roadmap. Stay current ;
• Perform other duties as necessary.
