The Transport Coordinator is responsible for providing efficient logistics support for
feeds order fulfillment thru planning and delivery of finished products via trucks and container vans effectively and ensuring timely shipment status updating.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cost Efficient and On-Time Deliveries

  1. Builds partnership with internal and external stakeholders in developing strategic /operational plans and programs in managing trucks and container vans mode of delivery, improving service performance and optimizing freight cost;
  2. Plans and ensures on time delivery of orders to satisfy customer requirement.
  3. Coordinates with customers and sales on commercial and schedules, including changes and updates.
  4. Develops and implements policies and procedures on trucks delivery operation and drives process improvements;
  5. Facilitates negotiation for truck haulers service providers for best rate offers, payment terms, service agreements and conditions to satisfy the yearly freight budget goals.
  6. Initiates sourcing and scheduling of trucks to ensure availability to meet customer order requirements;
  7. Verifies, reconciles and ensures billing documents are complete and are in proper order to facilitate payment to service provider. Any discrepancy on the billing vs. deliveries must be resolve prior to payment processing.
  8. Ensures that all shipments via trucks and containerized are planned and executed in the SAP TM Module;
  9. Ensures to provides shipment schedules and status update all deliveries;
  10. Ensure that all feeds loading complies to ISO / HACCP standards.
  11. Ensures monitoring of truck deliveries and timely capturing of shipment events and updates.
  12. Provides alert and aging report on trucks status and escalates to concerned TBM/RSMs for immediate action.
  13. Conducts regular meeting/dialogue with the different stakeholder’s i.e. sales,
    customer, transport service provider to assess performance and opportunities for improvement.
  14. Provides corrective actions for trucks order to delivery related customer complaints and coordinate with service provider and concerned departments’ concern on delays, rejects, returns or discrepancies. And provides feedback on the course of action to customer.
