The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities of
Outbound Logistics functions - Fulfillment Management, Transportation Management, Depo/Hub Dispatching and Traffic Control for meats, poultry and other related products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
He/she ensures development and implementation of operational strategies to achieve business goals, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. He/she is a person of high integrity and is loyal to the company.
He/she leads and develops the Outbound Logistics Team to ensure that the right people, processes, systems and metrics are in place to support growth and continuous improvement.
He/she understands all the processes associated with the logistics functions and is an expert in the field. The function requires keen customer focus and strong negotiating skills. With the expansion of the company, it is expected that he/she has a genuine passion for learning, is open to operating in some ambiguity and will be happy taking on an expanded role should the opportunity arise.
