AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to be based in Manila, Philippines
Provides objective analysis and sound judgement with application of principles and techniques to evaluate and report project performance from concept study to construction & startup including practical assessment of schedule completion and expected final cost. Competencies include setup of work breakdown structure, establishing levels of control and detail, planning and scheduling, cost analysis and forecasting, progress measurement, earned value performance, risk analysis and change control.
Responsible for managing, controlling, forecasting and reporting cost and schedule performance for projects throughout the organization. Services include setting up and managing project controls systems (including setup of work breakdown structure), capturing to-date progress and expenditure data, analyzing to-date performance data, forecasting at-completion performance data (EAC costs, hours), analyzing project risks (contingency management), managing change and incorporating scope variations into schedule and cost deliverables, and preparing associated reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
General Portfolio Admin supporting actions with the Portfolio Manager (APIC/ Workbench Assistance with project set-ups/ monthly admin etc.)
Financial analysis- revenue / cost reconciliations, WIP Reviews, forecasting, invoice drafting, rate reviews, weekly cost updates as required;
Project Controller on a future panel agreement/ project (“TEPS”)
Personally invested in the success of this engagement, working alongside a NZ PM on a regular basis
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to manage work requests on multiple projects at the same time
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to read and interpret contract requirements and to read engineering drawings
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, Requests-for Proposals and contracts
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
Prior field project engineering experience in transportation, building, or energy projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
Performs challenging assignments requiring independent judgement, with little or no supervision
Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
