Position : SOCIAL MEDIA AND COMMUNITY ASSISTANT
Work Hours : Flexible working days with 2 days off, flexible 8 working hours, UK timezone
Holidays : TBD
Pay Range : $800-1,500 USD per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all social content is aligned with our social media strategy and promotes awareness, increases followers and drives engagement.
- Utilise our social media planning software to schedule content in the social calendar, ensuring all is signed off 4 weeks in advance.
- Liaise with our graphic designers and videographers to brief assets for our social channels and manage our brand asset library.
- Repost all social posts across channels (i.e. Instagram stories and tweets) to drive engagement, showcasing community and customer content
- Contribute towards the development and execution of our organic social media strategy to ensure it aligns with marketing goals.
- Monitor all social media channels to proactively drive engagement, respond to comments and messages (including ad comments) promptly, and spark conversations to grow our vibrant community.
- Contribute towards the creation of organic brand TikTok videos, Instagram stories and YouTube shorts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social trends and best practices to ensure maximum reach and impact.
- Utilise our social media planning software, delivering monthly social reports to assess performance, identify areas of improvement, and propose actionable recommendations through insights to the Marketing team.
- Regularly interact with all social content posted by brand partner and brand ambassador accounts across social platforms.
- Monitor competitor activity on social media, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct market research to support the marketing function and seek out new potential stockists, influencers, athletes and partners.
- Liaise with multiple business functions (I.e., Customer Service & Operations) to ensure streamlined processes when raising samples, gifting and running social competitions.
- Support brand events and/or sampling activations, ensuring coverage is featured on brand social channels.
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Above Average to Good Communication Skills; have strong written communication skills with the ability to write in a professional manner.
- Proven experience in creating strong content and implementing successful social media campaigns.
- Creative mindset and ability to think strategically and to craft engaging content that aligns with brand objectives
- Strong knowledge of all major social platforms, particularly Instagram & TikTok.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and scheduling platforms (such as Sprout).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design is a plus!
