Primary Responsibilities
• Oversights payroll within the Company
• Assist the accounts team where required
Specific Duties
• Oversights the payroll of the staff for all locations
• Conducts final checks and lodgement of the staff’s hours and final timesheet
• Ensures compliance with Annual Leave, sick leave certificates, and long service leave are in order
• Maintains knowledge of the awards of the staff and areas they are applicable to
• Keeps in contact with Employsure for updated awards, requirements of those awards, and any applicable award changes
• Overseas soft clock logging of staff and making sure Managers of gyms, warehouse, kitchen, and head office are keeping time
• Any extra monetary to speak to accounts – especially on major amendments, back pay, bonuses, payouts of annual leave, and long service leave.
• Works to be as precise and to a low correction of wages
• Amendments of salaries, wages, and payroll need to be done as required
• Works with assigned administration staff to have the wages submitted on time
• Liaises with Pays online as to cut-off dates, regional holidays, and alike
• Must know how to create reports as required and file what is necessary for auditing and compliance
• Upload of wages weekly on a Wednesday
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent and certification in Payroll Management would be advantageous
· Extensive knowledge and experience of a computer-based HRIS and payroll system (MYOB) would be preferred
· Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
· An understanding of the need for complete confidentiality at all times
· Strong attention to detail is a requirement
· Willing to work with hybrid set-up (morning schedule- 6AM -3PM PHT)
