About the role:

As a Senior Test Analyst at FIS, you will play a crucial role in testing and refining fintech products that will revolutionize the way people around the world make payments, manage their finances, and invest. In this role, you will work closely with your team to establish compliance processes and implement a quality maturity roadmap for each IT functional area.

What you will be doing:

  • Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure a clear understanding of individual deliverables

  • Identifying test requirements from specifications and creating test coverage plans

  • Providing guidance and assistance to clients on-site, collaborating closely with the FIS Project Team and Clients

  • Developing and maintaining functional test cases, test data, and other testing tools

  • Executing and evaluating manual or automated test cases and reporting test results

  • Performing usability testing to assess system performance, reliability, scalability, and security

  • Ensuring internal quality assurance and adherence to project success metrics

  • Communicating testing activities and findings effectively

  • Assisting in the release process and driving process improvements and automation

  • Facilitating test plan and test case reviews with cross-functional team members

  • Identifying and escalating potential quality issues

  • Verifying that delivered products meet functional and design specifications

  • Reporting and verifying defect fixes

  • Complying with all FIS policies and procedures

  • Performing other related duties as needed

What you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing

  • Experience with transaction switching or Payment Testing (e.g., eftpos, card schemes like MasterCard)

  • Experience in testing using stubs and simulators

  • Experience in Schemes Certification testing

  • Proficiency in quality management methods, tools, and technologies

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills to work effectively with diverse individuals

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience with IST/Merchant Account & Settlement (MAS), IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex, and/or Webpay/Digipay applications

  • Experience with Test Rail, Jira, FINsim, and ISTQB Foundation Software Testing certification

  • Knowledge of network message standards such as AS2805 or ISO standards
