Position: Head of Finance
Working Hours/Shift: M-F 8 AM-5 PM EST
Salary Range: $1500-$2000 monthly
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff members and financial controller.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Finance Manager or Controller.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
