ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant (AU Taxation) to join our talented team. You will play a key role in managing the Australian taxation requirements for our clients.
Responsibilities
• Preparation and Reconciliation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for clients.
• Completion of annual tax returns and financial accounts for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
• Ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws and regulations.
• Assisting with year-end tax reporting and financial statements.
• Other ad hoc tax-related duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Australian taxation and compliance.
- Knowledge of XERO required.
- Professional qualification such as CPA or CA is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
