About the Role
As a Data Scientist/Accountant, you will play a key role in handling data manipulation, analysis, and automation within the accounting domain.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Leverage Power BI to extract insights and create meaningful visualizations.
- Generate output files tailored for seamless import into Xero accounting software.
- Develop and implement low-code automations to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Apply background accounting knowledge to ensure accurate financial data handling.
- Independently work on system migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and data integrity.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in MS Excel is a must.
- Excellent command of Power BI with an active license.
- Preferred experience with Xero accounting software.
- Familiarity with Query Editor for data extraction and analysis.
- Above-average to good communication skills to effectively convey insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
