Work Hours: Mondays to Fridays 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM PH Time)
Salary: USD 900 - 1500/month
About the Role:
We are looking for a scriptwriter for a simple cartoon YouTube channel. The channel is of a cartoon character talking about stories and opinions on various topics. The scripts are lighthearted and humorous.
Responsibilities:
- Learn from and contribute to documentation relating to writing style
- Create YouTube scripts from ideas and loose structure provided to the writer
- Edit and iterate scripts when given feedback
- Create humor out of various situations and topics
- Have an understanding of basic YouTube script structure
- Understand retention for a YouTube video
- Ability to describe visual humor
- Ability to craft spoken humor
- Have a willingness to learn
- Have the ability to iterate on ideas
- Can work independently and with others
- Ability to create unique content (avoids AI and plagiarism)
