Position: Office Assistant

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays 9 AM-6 PM Central Standard Time
Holidays: US Holidays (New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas)
Benefits: PTO 5 days, 10 vacation days. These can be used starting six months after the start date.
Salary Range: $900-$1500/month
Scope of the Role
We are seeking a reliable and highly organized office assistant to join our client team. The office assistant will be responsible for but not limited to providing administrative support and helping ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role involves a variety of tasks, including clerical, administrative, and organizational duties.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Take incoming calls and text messages from residents. Must be prompt and attentive with all incoming communication.
- Answer applicant questions.
- Contact property vendors to coordinate estimates and work completion.
- Complete legal documents by entering names, dates, etc. (leases, notices, etc.).
- Update resident profiles in management software (attach PDFs, add notes from calls, etc.).
- 2+ years of experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other office equipment.
- Solid background in Property Management and Back-office
- Experience with RentManager is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- willingness and ability to work unsupervised in a self-motivated environment.
- Comfortable talking with clients via phone or text.
