Position : Bookkeeper/Accountant
Working Hours : Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm (PHT-Manila Time)
Holidays : US or PH Holidays
Salary Range : $1,000-$1,600

Main Responsibilities
- Help with bookkeeping tasks
- Payroll preparation - run clients’ payroll
- Bookkeeping functions for bookkeeping clients - account reconciliation and preparing of financial statements
- Prepare and file other reporting requirements such as State Sales Tax and - Workers'
- Compensation Reconciliation
- Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Track receivables; generate late fees, increases, and notices as needed
- Coordinate with Subsidy programs and track payment receipts, increases, and all necessary notices and documents
- Deposit and record cash, manual, credit card, e-check/ACH payments
- Maintain all accounting records and filing documents
- Monitor company and property expenses
- Accounts payable data entry w/ attached invoices;manage purchase orders, track payments, and receipts
- Perform monthly reconciliation
- Perform weekly quality control checks on all payables/receivables
- Provide analytical support to the team
- Review all vendor, utility, and property bills
- Coordination with CPA for annual tax reporting on company and property level; provide analytical support to CPA as needed

- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper, demonstrating proficiency in financial transactions, account management, and reconciliation.
- Experience in managing multiple entities, ensuring accurate and organized financial records.
- Preferred experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Proficiency in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Background in e-commerce accounting, including familiarity with unique financial transactions and revenue recognition in the online retail sector.
- Ability to build revenue models and perform financial forecasting to support informed decision-making.
- Strong attention to detail in recording and verifying financial data accurately.
- Effective organizational skills to manage financial documents and records efficiently.
- Comfortable using accounting software and tools to manage financial records, generate reports, and perform calculations.
