As a Corporate Legal Professional at Avaloq, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and providing expert guidance on various legal matters. Your primary responsibility will be to support the legal department in handling corporate legal affairs, contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management initiatives. You will collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders to safeguard the company's interests while maintaining adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.
Your main responsibilities are within Corporate Governance:
- Planning and execution of all board of director meetings of the Avaloq group subsidiaries for EMEA and APAC region. This includes the audit compliance and risk committee meetings of the Avaloq Group Ltd, including strategic planning; creating agendas; inviting the appropriate attendees; reserving the meeting space and covering all possible logistical issues.
- Keeping of meeting and committee minutes. This includes the responsibility to implement all of the board's pronouncements.
- Being the point person and keeper for all corporate documents, which includes serving as a key consultant to the boards, the committee, to the executive management team but also various other departments. This also includes the maintaining of the group wide authorized signatories list and the organizational chart of the group companies.
