Job Title: Accountant
Work Hours: M-F; 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST/10:00 PM-6:00 AM PH Time
Salary: 900-1,800 USD per month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Maintain a thorough record of the organization's business transactions and financial transactions.
- Verify that the recorded transactions are accurate and complete.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Perform data entry and administrative duties as needed.
- Implement bookkeeping and financial procedures based on the organization's current methodology.
- Process invoices.
- Speak to clients of different companies.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the role.
- Has an accounting degree and a CPA.
- Above Average to Excellent Written and Communication Skills; Minor accent is acceptable.
- Proficient in using QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Office 365 (Outlook, Word, One Drive).
- Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Solid knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
- Proficient understanding of reconciling balance sheets.
