General Job Summary
The Associate Team Lead is responsible for supporting the assigned operations team. This contribution is accomplished through both individual contributions and by directing the efforts of the assigned team members. The Associate Team Lead’s responsibility is to act as the “Player/Coach” and ensure the day-to-day operations of the assigned team are running smoothly and that the team is performing to meet both individual and team-based goals. Additionally, the Associate Team Lead meet with company management to give feedback on performance, regional update, and to learn about new developments within the company.
Role and Responsibilities
- Performing a “Player/Coach” role
- Training, coaching, and supporting the assigned team members
- Providing team leadership including coordination of internal resources to deliver on client's needs and expectations.
- Being accountable for assigned team results and arming the assigned team members with strategic and tactical guidance to achieve goals and objectives.
- Assisting the leadership team with compiling and owning various reports to track team effectiveness and ensure that goals are being met.
- Putting strategies and actions in place to address challenges. Focuses on objectives and priorities of both the customer and Aptean.
- Ticketing System: Day to day Salesforce and quote issue resolution and support for sales department employees
- Acquisition Integration: Assist M&A integration team with data and systems migrations for acquired organizations
- Data Integrity: Ensure and organize all accounts and opportunities are assigned to the correct salesperson
- Manage internal systems: Maintain and administer all internal systems within sales, including setting up and managing users
The Successful Candidate
- Ability to successfully manage both individual and team goals and objectives
- Proven experience in effectively managing and coaching internal/virtual teams
- Knowledge or previous experience in the software industry is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to credibly present recommendations at senior levels in the organization
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and work well with people in different departments
- Must be motivated, goal oriented with the proven ability to work with minimal direction and maintain a high level of collaboration across geographically diverse teams
- Possesses a high degree of honesty, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
