Job Description
Build strategic data imperatives that will enable the business to have a holistic understanding of relevant existing & emerging customer segments through integration of internal data analytics, market research, competitive info and network data that enable data-driven strategic decision making1. Build the (B2C/B2B/Convergence/Network) strategic data imperatives, framework and develop an analytics plan (1-year plan with quarterly milestones and 2-3 year roadmap) that would aid the business on their decisions and actions
2. Leads strategic initiatives that will enable Globe to predict & anticipate customer’s needs and wants for their particular segment vertical and push operationalization and use of these models
3. Act as an analytic partner/advisor to the business by
a. proactively providing updated customer/market insights that can be used in crafting their business plans/ strategies for the short and long term
b. delivering on time, on quality, proactive, actionable insights and recommendations.
4. Drive & influence CFU and Enabling Unit heads alike on use of the analytical assets (models, framework, segmentation tagging) through relevant use-cases backed by business impact
5. Collaborate with Data Office to source data internally and externally to enrich knowledge about the customer in the segment
7. Leads recruitment, development and retention of critical talents, ensuring that the squad workforce is ready to meet current and future business needs in terms of skill, knowledge and ability to take on high responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
Work Experience:
At least five (5) experience in customer analytics domain covering most of the following: data mining, insighting, advanced analytics, visualization, large scale data wrangling
Proven track record of managing and collaborating on analytical initiatives
Level of Knowledge:
Must possess core competencies, deep understanding and relevant experience in:
Scripting or programming experience (for data analysis, extraction): proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R; and relational and no-SQL databases such as SQL, Hive, Spark
Data visualization tools: hands-on experience with tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, and other analytical tools or software
Familiar with most of the following disciplines:
Hypothesis testing: being able to develop a hypothesis and test them with careful experiments;
Statistical analysis: to understand causal relationships, etc.
Market segmentation: identify shared characteristics or behavioral profiles
Strong ability to connect and translate business requirements and needs to the Technology roadmap
SME in developing and implementing analytic or ML framework to serve a particular business question (i.e. typical model techniques are best fit for a certain business question)
Strong project/program management skills in leading and implementing business intelligence driven projects
Education:
Graduate of a Bechelor's Degree in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics or Information Science such as Business Analytics
