Job Title: Property Manager

Work Hours: M-F, Flexible (overlap at least 4 hours between 9am-5pm) EST

Pay Range: $900 - $1,500/month

Support Shepherd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our team. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property performance.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our team. The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our real estate portfolio, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property value.

Responsibilities:

Tenant Relations: 

  • Manage tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. 
  • Ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. 

Property Maintenance: 

  • Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and renovations as needed. 
  • Regularly communicate between tenants and maintenance staff to ensure maintenance is performed timely and effectively. 

Leasing and Marketing: 

  • Advertise and market vacant units to attract and retain tenants. 
  • Screen prospective tenants, conduct background checks, and execute lease agreements. 

Financial Management: 

  • Prepare and manage property budgets, including rent collection and expense tracking.
  • Ensure timely payment of property-related bills and invoices. 

Compliance and Legal: 

  • Stay updated on local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations. 
  • Ensure properties are in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. 

Reporting: 

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on property performance and financial status. 

Team Management: 

  • Oversee maintenance and administrative staff as needed. 
  • Collaborate with the development team on property improvement projects.

  • 1-3 years of property management experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to create more efficient systems & processes

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency with rent manager
  • Accounting experience
