Overall in-charge in the store operations
Will act as the Team Leader in the storeSupervise Merchandisers in the storeCutting, grinding and preparing meats for sale.
Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive.Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.
Keeping records and request budgets, and inventory of supplies, tools and materials including PPEs.
Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.Negotiating and confirming orders for the client.Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls.
Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, and accepting orders or payments
Coordinating deliveries or order pickups.Train assistants and Merchandisers in all aspects of Butcher tasks and responsibilities
Compliance to the merchandising/promotion / planogram standards set by the Client.Refilling of products from the bodega / warehouse to the selling area shelves / freezers implementing First In First Out (FIFO) or First to Expire First Out (FEFO) policy.
Price tagging of the displayed products if allowed, or install shelf price tag.
Ensure price is correct and align with the stores retail price.Highlight promotions and marketing efforts by installing Point of Purchase materials provided if allowed.
Ensure shelves and / or Mass Display is well stocked.Bad Order / nearing expiration products must be documented with the store or reported to the Client and returned to the bodega / warehouse stored properly for pick up.
Make inventory reports whenever required by the store or by the Coordinator, inventory must be 100% accurate.
Make sure meat transformation are correct based on standards.Suggest and process re-orders if allowed.
Ensure Bodega / warehouse stocks are well arranged and separate Bad Order stocks from good stocks.
Assist in receiving stock deliveries.
Comply with the stores’ policies.Maintain good working relationship with the store employees, counterparts, sub-ordinates and other Merchandiser colleagues.
Report competition / pricing activities to Coordinator.
Use properly equipment / tools / materials the company provided.
Correct stock re-order forecasting based on demand and requirement.
Ensure proper grooming of your team.And other merchandising and butchering related work.
