FINANCE
- Monitors, analyzes and reports periodical actual financial performance in comparison to budget submitted to senior management
- Provides financial advisory support on business, brand and financial plans
- Analyzes overall financial results and determines underlying reasons for any deviation which will be raised to functional heads for appropriate action
- Proposes and drives cost saving initiatives to businesses/functions
- Develops financial plans using business valuation tool, for strategic investments/ divestments for management approval
- Establishes financial model with banks, treasury, taxation and controlling in order to ensure optimum cash flow, financing cost and capital employed at competitive rates
- Establishes and oversees maintenance of controls over cash flows and payments authorization to safeguard corporate assets.
- Establishes a system of internal controls and oversees implementation and monitoring
- Oversees and aligns accounting and financial systems
- Drives identification and implementation of revisions / improvements to internal financial systems and procedures
- Oversees coordination and monitoring of compliance implementation and activities
- Assist in the development of systems to provide monitoring and enforcement of policies for all financial activities
- Leads the implementation of financial policies, systems and procedures; facilitate in providing support for financial management oversight, analyze budgets, preparation financial reports, assist in making recommendations to management on budget expenditures and maintenance contract standards
- Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines are met and procedures followed
- Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control
- Provides financial, fiscal and accounting advice, direction and leadership to senior management
- Ensures compliance with tax regulations and generally accepted accounting practices
- Oversees structuring, drafting, negotiating and closing of commercial transactions
- Ensures support on commercial disputes/litigation management and develops risk mitigation strategies
ACCOUNTING
Leads, direct and final checking on the following:
- Journal Entry
- COGS/Inventory Value
- Inventory balance of distributor
- Sale by Products – Shipments and local
- Budget Control – Analysis and basic reporting
- Statutory ACC – Journal entry/ reporting
- Budgeting & Forecasting System (FUSION)
- Review financial analyses, summaries, management reports and other special reports as required, and submits to RHQ and LTD the reports to wit:
- Accounting Report
- Consolidation Package
- Inventory Information, Balance & Movement
- Sales Report
- Bank Balance information
- Cash Flow Forecast
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Builds an effective team committed to delivering stretch targets and achieving both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Provides clarity on the goals and objectives to be achieved by the team.
- Ensures development of skills and abilities through ongoing feedback, coaching and training/development opportunities
- Oversees and drives overall performance management and talent management of the team.
