As an HR Specialist, you will be part of a team delivering an excellent HR service to the GCD Philippines Cluster. Within this role you will act as the first port of call to employees for all HR related queries, ensuring the needs of our people are being met.
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
Payroll
- Prepare payroll instructions to be submitted to the payroll provider
- Calculate pro-rated salary for new hires, resigned employees, and employees on leave
- Ensure payroll computation is accurate including the deductions for statutory contributions, statutory loans, company loans, and HMO, if applicable
- Ensure payroll is released on time
- Calculate final pay of resigned employee and ensure that it is released within the timeline prescribed by law
- Ensure compliance with local payroll, wage, and hours laws, and best practices
- Coordinate with payroll service provider on issues affecting company payroll
- Ensure payroll-related concerns, queries and issues are resolved and responded promptly
Benefits Administration
- Manage timely administration and delivery of the day-to-day Benefits functions both company initiated and statutory
- Prepare funding request to Finance Department
- Prepare and coordinate with government offices on payments and posting of statutory contributions and loans.
- Facilitate company loan application and endorse to Finance and Payroll Teams for processing.
- Liaise with government offices in the submission and completion of employee benefit availment request.
- Prepare computation of Maternity and Sickness benefit as needed.
- Ensure employee benefits-related concerns, queries and issues are resolved and responded promptly.
Vendor Management
- Monitor and track contracts agreement.
- Ensure timely payment of billings and tracking of credit memos if any.
