Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Working Hours: Sunday Afternoon/Evening (CST): 1-3 hours of work; Monday- Friday (CST): 10:00 am - 5:30 pm
Salary Range: $900 - $1500/ month

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly payroll and monthly bonus payroll for employees, including calculating and verifying hours worked, overtime, and any special payments or deductions for W-2 and W-9 personnel.
- Data Entry:
• Accurately enter payroll data into the Paylocity payroll system, including employee information, hours worked, and
other relevant details for W-2 and W-9 staff.
• Populate applicant leads into the Applicant Tracking System
- Payroll System Maintenance: Ensure the payroll system data is current, respond to requests for technical support and troubleshooting, communicate directly with our platform representative to achieve resolution when necessary.
- Case Management: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies from employee employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Monthly Reporting: Support the HR Manager with the compilation of the Monthly Worker's Compensation reporting and ACA Reporting.
- Administer the weekly billable time reporting and approval process: create summary reports and drive internal compliance with approval deadlines.
- Create weekly billings and expense summary reports for the leadership team.
- Timekeeping: Maintain and update employee time and attendance records, ensuring they match payroll data for W-2 and W-9 staff.
- Year-End Process: Prepare and distribute year-end tax documents such as W-2s and 1099s, and support the HR Manager with the timely submission to the appropriate tax authorities.
- Assist with scheduling interviews with prospective candidates
- Special projects, as assigned.
- Must have at least 2+ years of experience with payroll administration for U.S.-based businesses
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail, familiarity with general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in cloud-based payroll software use, and experience using Paylocity is preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Functional understanding of legislation policies and regulations that pertain to payroll administration
- Exquisite math and numeric skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
