Are you a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Specialist? Then we want you!

We need someone who can take on the primary role of scheduling appointments for our firm and play a crucial role in assisting the administrative and service teams. Your primary objective is to consistently fill the schedules of our three advisors with qualified appointments. With your expertise, you'll schedule face-to-face appointments based on qualified leads and seminar overflow. You'll also respond to each lead from various sources in a timely manner and handle follow-up with our Tier 1 clients.

Position: Business Development Specialist

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm EST, with a 30-minute lunch break

Monthly Salary: Up to 1,500 USD/mo (Depending on the interview result and client’s approval)

Holiday: TBC

About the Company:

An independent financial services firm helping individuals create retirement strategies using investments and insurance products.

Responsibilities:

DAILY:

    • Set qualified appointments to fill Advisors' calendars
    • Call, schedule, and follow up with prospects for appointments from seminars and events
    • Record notes from every prospective client conversation in the Redtail database
    • Call qualified Tier 1 clients to “check-in” to ensure they are happy and well-served
    • Follow the script for all call scenarios
    • Input prospects and keep database/CRM program up-to-date
    • When necessary, help assist in the Preparation of the Client Experience for prospect/client meetings, greet and welcome guests
    • Guide clients in the appropriate direction when they call in or make requests: keep them happy
    • Pre-qualify leads signed up to attend seminars

WEEKLY:

    • Manage and follow up with all radio leads using scripts and workflow processes established
    • Workshop callbacks for those who are interested in attending an upcoming event

MONTHLY:

    • Attend and Service Seminar/Workshops as needed: set up, appt scheduling, and mingle with prospects to help answer questions and promote AFG
    • Attend client events as needed and get to know our clients

  • Prior Sales and Telemarketing experience is a must. Sales: 1 year (Preferred); Client Relationship: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to motivate prospects to set appointments, prioritize projects, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate persistence.
  • The individual should possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in phone skills, and a command of the English language and grammar.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly, industry knowledge, and a desire to build relationships with clients and people.
  • The individual must be highly organized, adaptable to changes, and a team player.
