What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- At least 7 years of proven experience in Data Administration. Preferably 3-5 years handling subordinates/a team.
- Solid experience in data administration including an understanding of master data governance and management within a product related environment.
- Advanced MS Excel, VBA Macro and Powerapps skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis: can interpret and draw conclusions.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g., Master Data Management software, ERP systems, data modelling tools).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in information management, Information Technology, Information System, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Certification in data management or relevant fields.
- Background in Microsoft D365, Power Platform or similar systems.
- SQL and Database management.
- Experience in a retail environment.
What will you do?
- Responsible for providing leadership in data management activities to a team responsible for the timely and accurate completion of master data origination and maintenance requests ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of organization’ master data.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure that data is accurate by conducting audits and identifying trends that may indicate problems with data quality.
- Create and implement guidelines for data structure to ensure consistency in how information is stored, organized, and accessed.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensuring master data file updating and maintenance processes are effective, making improvements where required.
- Develop and effectively communicate standards for data access, usage, and security.
- Providing leadership in data management activities such as designing data models or developing new data management structure, processes and practices.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within master data management.
- Generate and present reports on data quality, trends, and performance and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
