Position: Marketing Manager
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Central time (4 hrs flexible)
Salary Range: $900-$1600 ( Depending on the interview result and client’s approval)

The company educates, informs, and brings together podcasters and industry professionals to help build a better tomorrow for the podcast industry.
About the role:
The Marketing Manager would be in charge of all the hands-on marketing efforts outside of organic social media management for Podcast Movement and the various events and communities we manage.
We host several large conferences and trade shows a year, and need a much more organized strategy as it relates to email marketing, video/youtube channel marketing and management, paid social and search and display, etc.
1) We run two annual conferences/trade shows, which make up the majority of our company revenue (ticket sales and sponsorship sales). We also produce shows for other industries that are similar in format.
2) We send out a weekly newsletter that needs better guidance and also have different nurture sequences we've used in the past.
3) We have a very large online community, right now it's a Facebook group. It's the largest in our industry. We are looking to grow and nurture it more, and/or build a new one off of FB.
- The ideal hire will both bring ideas to the table, and also will the ability to execute those ideas.
We're looking for someone with experience in most or all of the following:
- Paid Ad Marketing (social & search/display) - we use Feathr for display ads and basic google ads for search, but need to do more.
- Engagement Funnels (through paid ads, email marketing, etc., to maximize advertising and ongoing nurturing) - we use Active Campaign for email marketing currently
- Outside-the-box marketing ideas and experience
Tools that the candidates must be familiar with:
- Gmail, google calendars, google sheets and docs, slack, airtable, google ads for search/display/youtube, canva and/or other graphic design tools, ActiveCampaign, Feathr a plus but not a requirement.
- 5+ years doing all of these tasks, and experience in the event marketing space would be a huge plus.
