What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- A higher education degree is preferred.
- Must have at least 2-3 years relevant experience in the Australian lending market.
- Knowledge of current Australian lender policies and capacity to stay on top of lender and market policy movements.
- Honest, reliable, and hardworking is essential.
- Strong problem solving, and mathematical skills are required. Think outside the box and a strong desire to solving problem is required for this position.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) is required.
- AFG- Experience in FLEX and ApplyOnline
What will you do?
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be required to assist in all aspects of the mortgage broking and lending administration processes, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below. In house support will be always available along with regular opportunities for ongoing external education and professional development.
- Daily you will manage the day-to-day loan process, such as follow up’s chasing outstanding documentation, loan packaging and liaise with lender to efficiently support your clients’ processes.
- In addition to managing the day-to-day loan process you will also be required to input and maintain data in the CRM and Broker Engine.
- You will be ordering valuations, credit reports and managing any requests for further information from the lender while keeping your client fully informed, on an online basis.
- You will be fully trained in the specific requirements, and you will be responsible to prioritize you daily workload.
- You will be required to contact the lender and monitor the status of deals, ensuring that deals are processed within an acceptable timeframe.
