Are you a problem solver and enjoy AI technology with a passion for project management? Do you have experience in product support or service desk? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our valued client, a B2B technology company based in Melbourne, Australia. 

We are seeking a PRODUCT SUPPORT SPECIALIST to help manage the software development workflow for our groundbreaking insights tech platform. 

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, Dayshift. 

This is an office-based position in central Cebu City. 

The expected start date is February 2024. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The PRODUCT SUPPORT SPECIALIST is pivotal in managing support tickets for users of our platform. You will run flight control for customised platform management, making sure tickets are prioritised and delivered on time and to spec. 

Problem solving, identifying objectives, key resources and potential blockers are key. 

To deliver this effectively you need to learn the platform and provide first level support where appropriate and to escalate tickets for assessment by the broader technical services and developer team. You will work with stakeholders including research consultants, product developers, marketing, product designers and technical writers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Triaging tickets using Jira 
  • Assisting internal and external customers with technical enquiries and requests 
  • Identifying customer issues, logging and fixing problems 
  • Setting clear direction for the developer team based on the specification and the objectives of the engagement 
  • Briefing developers and technical services resources on projects and tasks using Jira and Confluence 
  • Communicating with stakeholders 
  • Removing blockers / impediments to the work 
  • Identifying if projects are heading off track and taking the appropriate action as a result 
  • Working with senior management on prioritisation 
  • Maintaining documentation and knowledge base 

 

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
      • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project support, Customer Training or Service Desk environment. 
      • Must be tech-savvy and work with stakeholders including research consultants, product developers, marketing, product designers, and technical writers. 
      • Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
      • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage time effectively. 
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
      • Excellent verbal and written English and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.  
      • High level of integrity and professionalism.
