Position: 14260012562 - Credit Controller
Working Hours/Shift: M-F, Schedule/Shift will be TBD
Salary Range: 1000-1400 USD
Overview:
As Credit Controller you are responsible for working within the Finance team to ensure all aspects of our cash collection cycle is fully functioning. You will report to the Financial Controller. You will have excellent communication and time management skills. An ability to handle high volume workflow in a professional setting. Your function is to support the Finance team and ensure high levels of credit adhered in line with Group policy.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage all of Group credit control functions in each business unit.
- Minimize bad debt risk and credit exposure by ensuring group credit limits are operating effectively.
- Manage SEPA Direct Debit system.Liaise with the Commercial team to ensure prompt collection of Debtor Accounts.
- Report to management any outstanding issues and potential debtor defaults or problems and communicate on account queries from Debtors and internal departments.
- Ensure a reduction in DSO by monitoring debtor balances.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts in Xero, managing unapplied payments, requesting remittance from Debtors, lodging cheques and any ad hoc cash.
- Oversee an Early Warnings Report to ensure proactive steps are taken to maximize collections.
- Liaise with debtors to resolve any queries.
- Process all credit notes from sales promotions.
- Circulate to Group and Commercial team weekly debtor statements.
- Prepare reports and presentations as requested by the Financial Controller and for year-end accountants for the annual set of accounts
Qualifications:
· 2-3 years experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar roles
· Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
· Comfortable talking to customers via telephone.
· Excellent computer skills, specifically for data entry, CRM and Excel.
· Experience using CRM or Invoice software is also an advantage.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and under time constraints.
· Ability to work to follow processes and work to achieve KPIs.
· Experience in customer service or an office based role (highly desirable).
