Octal Philippines Inc. is a renowned IT solutions company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our partner team as an IT Business Analyst. As an Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and recommending software solutions to drive process improvements. Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements through interviews, workshops, and observation sessions
- Document and maintain detailed business process flow diagrams, system requirements, and user stories
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions or system modifications to meet business needs and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and vendors to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Conduct testing prior to endorsement to Team Lead. Resolves testing findings.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis for proposed solutions
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance activities
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations
- Provide guidance and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- With at least 3 years' work experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
- Must have accounting background
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience in software development methodologies
- Knowledge of business process modeling and standard analysis techniques
- Nice to have knowledge in software development tools such as PHP, Laravel framework & Vue.JS
- Optional experience in Logistics industry
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be willing work in Parañaque City.
