They possess a data-driven, analytical mindset, and communicate with clarity. They’re both a doer and a learner. They’ve expertise in owning search marketing campaigns with SEO and Google Ads. Experience with technical reporting (Google Analytics, Search Console and End-to-End tracking a plus.)
Main Responsibilities
- SEO
- Conduct keyword research using Ahrefs
- Aggregate keyword data in Google Sheets so that it is clear and presentable to clients
- Create/Optimize content outlines using a combination of Ahrefs and SurferSEO
- Evaluate content length, keyword density, and recommendations for outline
- Evaluate existing content focusing on H1, Title Tag and Meta Descriptions
- Optimize existing content using internal and external linking
- Google Ads
- Conduct keyword research to identify potential paid keywords using Ahrefs
- Audit existing Google Ads accounts to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for growth
- Build remarketing campaigns
- Build search marketing campaigns and optimize weekly for ~15 clients
- Familiarity with Google Ad Grant a plus
- Systems and Tools
- Ahrefs experience required
- Google Suite experience required
- ChatGPT familiarity a plus
- Setup Google Search Console for new and existing sites
- Setup Google Analytics for new and existing sites
- Setup Google Tag Manager and implement tags for Meta, LinkedIn, X, and Google (Analytics, etc.) for new and existing sites
- Build Google Data Studio reports to communicate growth of Search Marketing Efforts
- Familiarity and demonstrated experience setting up End-to-End tracking using UTM Parameters and hidden fields to pass UTMs into a CRM (Hubspot and other) a plus

- Managed Google Search Ads with a consistent monthly spend over ~$25k
