The company is a daily stock market newsletter that surfaces the best stock ideas from all over the internet.
They use a mix of AI, code, and manual effort to find stock ideas from all over the internet (blog posts, Twitter, Reddit, hedge fund letters, analyst reports, etc). We then manually choose the best stock ideas to share each day.
Main Responsibilities
The main job for this role is to help find stock ideas online from various sources and extract/format/verify the relevant info from the stock ideas.
- Source Identification:
- Identify and explore diverse sources of financial information, market reports, and company data to gather comprehensive insights.
- Data Input:
- Accurately input relevant financial and market data into analytical tools and databases for further evaluation.
- File Organization:
- Organize and maintain files systematically, ensuring efficient retrieval of information for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Information Annotation:
- Annotate key information and insights derived from various sources, facilitating a clear understanding of the data collected.
- Execution of AI Tool:
- Implement AI tools to analyze and interpret large datasets, extracting meaningful patterns and trends relevant to stock performance.
- Verification and Cleanup:
- Verify the accuracy of gathered data and perform necessary cleanup to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Condensed Text Cleanup:
- Condense and refine text-based information, extracting essential details to create succinct and informative reports.
Tools to use
- AI and Machine Learning Tools
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic indicators.
- Proven experience in successful financial research and analysis with a track record of generating and recommending stock ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
