Job Title: Sales Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Salary Range: 1,200 to 1,500 USD per month

About the Company:

The company is a delivery service for time and privacy-sensitive materials that has been in business for over 25 years. The company is now looking to hire a Salesperson with the skills to help win new business.

About the Job:

This is a remote work opportunity. 

As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for looking for new customers, and working with the Driver Manager to prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate service terms and conditions for customers.

Given that Fast Track has been around for 25 years you will need to understand all of our customers and the nuances that accompany certain orders. You will also need to learn and know our pricing structure to ensure Fast Track maintains its profit margins. Finally, as the company grows, you will also discuss product offerings with customers to help meet their unique needs. 

You should be growth-minded, persistent, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in both a team and independently. An inclination to roll up your sleeves and solve problems by doing whatever is needed to get the job done is essential.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Grow revenue from $1 million to $3 million by the end of year two.
    1. Expand our list of scheduled routes
    2. Expand our relationships within the banking, professional services, medical, and manufacturing spaces
    3. Research and develop new lines of business
  2. Increase profit margins from 35% to 45% by the end of year two
    1. Help refine the pricing structure by the end of year one
  3. Deliver monthly sales forecasts that are 90% accurate
  4. Work with the Driver Manager to prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate service terms and conditions for customers

  • 3-5 years of relevant sales experience, 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with management and building teams from scratch.  
  • Professional-level on Google Suite, and Microsoft Office. 
  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively with contractors, and clients. 
  • Hands-on experience in internal communication with different areas of the company. 

Nice to have!

  • Familiarity with transportation, and drivers operations.
