About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-driven Marketing Associate to become a valuable member of the team.
This position will focus on the core aspects of a comprehensive marketing department. The responsibilities include copywriting, drafting newsletter campaigns, utilizing productivity and AI tools, performing product research and competitive analyses, and overseeing social media content and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Copywriting: Craft compelling copy for various marketing materials, including website content, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Newsletter Management: Develop and manage our email newsletter, including content creation, design, distribution, and performance analysis.
- Merchant Channels: Monitor and update listings on Google Merchant, Etsy, Walmart, MIVA, and eBay.
- Marketing KPIs and OKRs: Set, monitor, and report on marketing KPIs and OKRs.
- Outreach: Research and reach out to potential partners, podcasts, and communities to contribute to or develop relationships with.
- Productivity and AI Tools Proficiency: Utilize advanced productivity and AI tools to streamline marketing processes and enhance creativity.
- Product Research and Data Collection: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, consumer preferences, and industry changes to inform marketing strategies.
- Competitive Analysis: Regularly perform competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies, create content calendars, and engage with our audience to build brand presence.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing activities' effectiveness, provide insights, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure brand consistency and support company-wide marketing initiatives.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies, especially in AI and digital tools.
- 3+ years of marketing experience.
- Proficiency in Asana, Google Office Suite, Canva (required).
- Experience with Chat GPT, 1Password, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Meta Power Editor, TikTok, Google Adwords (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
- Ability to conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
