The HR Business Partner is a leadership role that acts as a trusted consultant to the leadership team in the assigned line of business (LOB) in areas of HR; including employee relations, employee benefits, policy creation, HR administrative services, workforce planning, among others.
The HR Business Partner works hand in hand with the HR Manager in the design, development and implementation of HR programs.
What will your normal day look like?
• Lead human resource management and industrial relations in the site
• Employment services
• Performance management
• Other related human resource projects
• Conduct counselling / interviews, addressing grievance disputes within
• Framework
• Employee Discipline in accordance with legislation
• Development of policies in accordance with the relevant legislation
• Liaise with the HR Manager on all Training and professional development needs of employees in his/her site
• Ensure that Performance Improvement Plan is in place
• Assist HR Manager in the development and implementation of Training and Development Projects
• Benefits Administration and paper work for both Government mandated and company mandated
• Liaise with employees and POC for compensation claims with vendors and/or government agencies
• Policy development.
• Up to date & compliance with legislation and industry trend
• Assist HR Manager in the development and implementation of Compensation and Benefits Projects
• Responsible for a small team of staff.
• Coordinate and promote corporate social responsibility activities in the site
• Act as project co-ordinator on roll out of various HR projects in the site
• Provide accurate reports outlining trends
• To perform any other related tasks which may be necessary from time to time
