Angkas’ mission is to eradicate poverty in the Philippines by providing opportunities for its bikers to create a source of livelihood that impacts their family and their communities.
The data scientist will play a crucial role in setting up the foundations in making this happen - from deep-diving analysis to creation of predictive machine learning models.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analyze large amount of raw information to find pattern that will provide Angkas with new insights and revenue.
- Develop and maintain data-driven predictive models.
- Creates and maintain visualizations/dashboards
- Identifies and maintains customer segments that can be utilized for various use-cases.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and also present findings and outputs.
- Bachelors degree in Math, Computer Sciense, Statistics, or Management
- Atleast 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledgeable in a programming language such as Java, Python or R.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- Experience in data analysis and predictive modelling projects.
- Experience in Google cloud technologies and services is an advantage.
- Experience in the Elastic stack is a plus
- Strong stakeholder presentation skills.
- Experience working in a startup tech company is a plus.
