We are looking for a Microsoft Cloud Admin to manage and support our Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem. You will be working in the Engineering team, reporting to the CTO.
In this role, you will own the Identity Management, Endpoint Management, Document Management, Compliance Management and Security Management functions of our back office. You will assist staff with daily administrative queries, perform platform monitoring, escalate platform issues to relevant parties and compile monthly reports. Additionally, you should be an advocate for the synergistic use of Microsoft productivity apps across the organization and facilitate internal training sessions to adopt these.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage the Microsoft 365 Admin portal, including the security and compliance portals for all staff
- Endpoint management and ownership of our MAM and MDM policies for employee devices
- Ensure that our zero-trust Identity Management policy is implemented and maintained
- Assist staff and external guests with access control queries
- Own the employee onboarding workflows
- Establish a document management process and ensure that sensitivity labels are applied to relevant documents. Facilitate training for the organization to adopt the process.
- Promote the adoption of MS 365 productivity apps throughout the organization with learning presentations.
- Implement and manage the technical controls for our IS0 27001 compliance
- Work with the Azure DevOps engineer to monitor and approve PIM requests
- Prepare monthly SOC reports
- Ensure that our cloud security benchmark scores are > 90%
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a Microsoft 365 instance for a small to medium size business
- Identity Management with Azure AD/EntraID
- Working with PowerAutomate cloud flows
- Managing SharePoint sites and document libraries
- Managing Teams
- Implementing IS0 27001 access controls
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience preferred:
- Microsoft 365 certified fundamentals
- Good understanding of Azure cloud computing technologies and services, particularly in the context of management via the Microsoft 365 Admin and Azure portals.
