Salesforce Developer

Responsibilities

1. Analyzing business problems and identifying solutions
2. Engaging with stakeholders to define as-is and to-be business processes
3. Working closely with senior developers on the overall design
4. Code, test, review, correct and document large and/or complex Salesforce features and/or Salesforce feature modifications
5. Quickly develop proof of concept designs and playback to business
6. Perform release management activities such as moving features between sandbox environments and/or promoting features into production
7. Undertake operational support, development support and maintenance activities (bugfix, refactor) as required

Mandatory Skills / Experience

1. At least five years of Salesforce development experience in a commercial environment
2. Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
3. Demonstrated admin experience with all aspects of declarative configuration
4. Demonstrated technical experience with APEX, Aura, LWC and Javascript (ES6)
5. Demonstrated experience designing and developing Salesforce integrations with REST APIs
6. Demonstrated experience with asynchronous APEX programming e.g. Queueable Interfaces, Future Methods and Platform Events

Non-Mandatory Skills / Experience

1. General exposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
2. In Service Cloud, exposure to APEX-defined skills-based routing is highly regarded
3. Familiarity with Flosum dev ops / release management is highly regarded
4. Familiarity with dev tools such as VSCode, Git and Jira
