Responsibilities
- Analyzing business problems and identifying solutions
- Engaging with stakeholders to define as-is and to-be business processes
- Working closely with senior developers on the overall design
- Code, test, review, correct and document large and/or complex Salesforce features and/or Salesforce feature modifications
- Quickly develop proof of concept designs and playback to business
- Perform release management activities such as moving features between sandbox environments and/or promoting features into production
- Undertake operational support, development support and maintenance activities (bugfix, refactor) as required
Mandatory Skills / Experience
- At least five years of Salesforce development experience in a commercial environment
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- Demonstrated admin experience with all aspects of declarative configuration
- Demonstrated technical experience with APEX, Aura, LWC and Javascript (ES6)
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing Salesforce integrations with REST APIs
- Demonstrated experience with asynchronous APEX programming e.g. Queueable Interfaces, Future Methods and Platform Events
Non-Mandatory Skills / Experience
- General exposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
- In Service Cloud, exposure to APEX-defined skills-based routing is highly regarded
- Familiarity with Flosum dev ops / release management is highly regarded
- Familiarity with dev tools such as VSCode, Git and Jira
