Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- 1 year of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant with an Australian law firm
- Experience using LEAP legal software or other similar tools preferred.
- Knowledge of the Australian legal system
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook and Excel

What will you do?
- Managing business matters through email communication with clients
- Interacting with clients - Serving as the primary contact person for clients, giving regular updates on case progress, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a professional and empathetic approach when working with individuals and families
- Draft cost disclosures with lawyers' approval
- Reviewing and organizing client files
- Providing backend administrative support
- Performing legal research - Conducting research on relevant legal matters, statutes, and regulations to assist attorneys in case preparation and strategy, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
