Position: Social Media Manager
Working hours: M-F, flexible 8 working hours with overlap of 2 hours with the client, EST
Salary: $900 - $1500/month
About the job:
The client is looking for a Social Media Manager that has experience doing administrative work. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a great attention to detail, could work with minimal supervision, goal oriented, and has good communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
- Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns
- Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
- Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
- Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes, and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
- General administrative tasks
- Assist client in various needs in his marketing/recruiting department. Things like handling (and be taught from scratch) how to update records for one of our marketing sources, securing refunds for “bad leads” (all a digital process, only occasional phone calls), and reviewing candidate resumes.
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Above Average to Excellent communication skills; minor accent is acceptable
- Proficient in Social Media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Tiktok, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Tools and Google Suite
- Has excellent communication skills
