Position: Technical Recruiter
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM (EST) | 8 PM - 4 AM (PH Time)
Salary Range: $800 - $1,200 / Monthly

Technology community and consulting firm headquartered in Virginia. Our main focus is on assisting high-growth startups in emerging tech markets by building their product and engineering teams. We began our journey in 2012, starting from a garage in Leesburg, Virginia, and quickly became a prominent figure in the startup community across the Washington, DC metro area. Over time, we have expanded our support to startups throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct extensive online research within the technology startup space to support lead-generation initiatives for sales and recruitment.
- Gain a deep understanding of the startup funding ecosystem, including seed, Series A, B, C, and D funding rounds, and use this knowledge to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
- Utilize tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems like Pipedrive, and ATS systems like Lever to streamline and optimize research processes.
- Assist with talent sourcing efforts as needed, leveraging online research skills to identify potential candidates for various roles within the tech startup space.
- Collaborate with sales and recruitment teams to enhance lead generation and candidate sourcing strategies.
- Identify Software Engineering talent to fill current and upcoming job openings with startups from emerging tech markets
- Build and maintain relationships with Software Engineers from various skill sets
- Participate in virtual tech events in the start-up community
- Contribute ideas to help shape and grow the company.
- Assist in new territory expansion
- Research local and new startups, products, and engineering markets
- Increase the company and hatch pad brands so that we remain credible and top-of-mind to our targeted audiences
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1-3 years of Technical Recruiting experience
- Good to Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in online research, ideally within the tech startup ecosystem.
- Familiarity with CRM and ATS systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You possess a comprehensive understanding of the challenges associated with technical recruitment and can generate innovative approaches for sourcing top talent.
- You are driven by self-motivation, possess strong ambition, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.
NICE TO HAVE:
- You have previous experience in organizing and managing recruitment interviews.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Pipedrive, and Lever.
- Previous experience in a sales, recruitment, or business development role.
- You’ve worked in a 100% remote startup role before
