Job Overview:
We are seeking a candidate who possesses a strong understanding of mobile applications and can think critically to provide support and conduct research. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable performing various ad hoc tasks as a Virtual Assistant (VA), including customer support, compiling and analyzing user feedback, and conducting outreach research. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
- Respond to Instagram messages promptly and monitor Instagram for any mentions. Express gratitude to influencers for their mentions.
- Address any questions or bugs via email as they arise.
Weekly Tasks:
- Monitor Mixpanel Stats for key metrics such as Daily Active Users (DAUs) and downloads. Ensure onboarding and retention metrics appear reasonable across iOS and Android platforms.
- Review feedback collected through Typeform and identify top ideas for new features or bugs to address. Respond to users regarding issues that have already been resolved and/or get clarification on their requests.
- Monitor app store reviews, highlighting positive feedback and responding to negative reviews. Respond to additional reviews, where appropriate.
- Download and evaluate new screen time apps, assessing their features and functionalities (iOS only).
- Update existing screen time apps and familiarize yourself with any new features (iOS only).
- Monitor App Store keyword rankings for "screentime" and identify any new apps that have emerged (iOS only).
Ad Hoc Tasks:
- Research productivity influencers and craft personalized outreach emails about ScreenZen.
- Update the ScreenZen Wix webpage with new influencer videos and walkthroughs.
- Search for research papers and content related to screen time.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as email management, email drafting, meeting scheduling, and pre-meeting research.
- Generate Canva images for social media posts
Personal Tasks:
- Trip planning, booking, and research
- Facilitate package returns as needed.
- Appointment scheduling, paying ad hoc bills like parking tickets
- At least 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant or Technical Support relevant to the role
- Familiarity with productivity tools like Mixpanel, Typeform, and Wix is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mobile applications, particularly iOS and Android platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Proficiency in conducting online research and synthesizing information.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
