About the job:
We're looking for a video editor who has a decent understanding of crypto and the jokes that are within the ecosystem. We can provide adequate hand holding and assistance in getting this person to understand this person over time. Main duty is editing podcast clips.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We would need this editor to create:
- One promo video per week on a specific theme/guest (in 16:9 + 9:16 sizing) ~15-30 seconds
- One high quality clip from a specific pod (time stamp will be provided (in 16:9 + 9:16) ~1-2 minutes
- One high quality clip from a specific pod time that is listed above but under 60 seconds
- One thumbnail for Youtube
- One Thumbnail for Spotify
- And 5 super easy TikTok style clips per week with gta or other attention gameplay below them with only text captions added.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a video editor
- Proficiency in video editing software and relevant tools (Creative Cloud, Adobe Suite, Final Cut, Premier Pro, and platforms (Youtube, Spotify, TikTok, Facebook, & Instagram).
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression.
- Strong knowledge of audio editing and sound design principles.
- Strong storytelling skills to mine raw content and identify key stories within content.
- Strong sense of design and visual storytelling.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Portfolio requirement is a MUST
