Job Title: Inventory Planner
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9AM - 6PM EST
Salary Range: $800-1,500
Holidays: US National Holidays

About the Role:

This role will monitor the KPIs for inventory and logistics for depots across the USA within the Supply Chain Logistics Department. The role involves providing proactive recommendations for inventory fulfillment to maintain healthy inventory levels and prevent stockouts. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, is a fast learner, independent, and has excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor inventory and Logistics KPIs for various Depots across USA.
  • Ensure proactive suggestions and strategies for inventory fulfillment.
  • Maintain a healthy inventory and prevent out of stocks through efficient management.
  • Contribute to meeting and possibly exceeding our service and inventory KPI's.
  • Analyze sales trends and historical data to forecast demand for products
  • Order inventory from suppliers and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to prevent stock-outs or overstocking
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports and other relevant documentation
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure inventory levels meet demand
  • Continuously review and improve inventory management processes to optimize business performance

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook, and Power BI
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management best practices, including forecasting demand, ordering inventory, and managing inventory levels
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with inventory management software, such as SAP or Oracle, is preferred
